Produced by my Mum, Brenda Brady, in association with the Mouth Cancer Foundation, Brenda’s Easy-to-Swallow Cookbook is primarily for mouth cancer sufferers, who often find it difficult to eat following surgery.

Following my Mum’s death last year (2008) my Dad finished the book, and we’re almost ready to publish the first short run. Mum raised about £15,000 for the Mouth Cancer Foundation and was active on the support website.

She produced this collection of recipes from various people, including fellow sufferers, and a few celebrity chefs (including Nigella Lawson and Anthony Worrall Thompson) who all kindly gave recipes for free.
